Basic Overview

Turpan is a famous oasis city in eastern Xinjiang, known as “China’s Fire Land”. It belongs to the Silk Road: Chang’an‑Tianshan Corridor World Cultural Heritage site. Extra‑low altitude, hot climate, desert, grape oasis and ancient ruined cities create its unique charm.
