Sichuan China Travel Service (SCTS)

Sichuan China Travel Service (registered capital of RMB 120 million) was established on May 7, 1987. It serves as a standing council member of both the China Travel Service Group and the National Travel Association, and holds the position of vice-president unit in the Sichuan Province and Chengdu Travel Associations. It is one of the key travel agencies in Sichuan, Southwest China, holding the qualifications of a Category-A International Travel Service, a National Top 100 Travel Agency, and one of Chengdu’s Top 10 International Travel Agencies. Furthermore, it is one of the few international travel agencies authorized to handle outbound tourism (in 2011, there were 609 international travel agencies in Sichuan Province, but only 13 were qualified to operate outbound tours). It is also recognized as a Chengdu Excellent and Credible Travel Agency.

 

Sichuan China Travel Service is a state-owned enterprise affiliated with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government. It is legally authorized to operate inbound, outbound (with the aforementioned outbound qualification), and domestic travel businesses. The company has fully deposited the required RMB 1.9 million Quality Guarantee Fund with the Provincial Tourism Bureau.

 

With assets close to RMB 20 million and modern office premises covering over 4,000 square meters, it was the earliest international travel agency in Sichuan to exclusively operate tours to Hong Kong and Macau and to specialize in handling Taiwan family visit tours. It also serves as the general agent for Thailand inbound tourism in the Chengdu region, enjoying a strong reputation and widespread recognition both domestically and internationally. The agency has established solid cooperative relationships with over 100 travel agencies in Asian countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
