In the morning, I woke up from nature with the first ray of sunlight. I leisurely enjoyed breakfast at the hotel for about 30 minutes. Then, I began to tour and pay homage to the “Emei Half Mountain Scenic Area”: the oldest Wanian Temple (the entrance fee is 10 yuan per person), the brick hall without beams that has remained intact after 18 earthquakes and over 400 years, and the 7.85-meter-tall, 62-ton, rare national treasure – the Shuxian Bronze Statue of Shakyamuni; then I visited the mountainous and wild scenery of the Yi ethnic group, which is known as the sixth largest minority in China; I continued my journey to the Bai Long Cave where Bai Mengzi practiced her religion and became a deity, to see the 10,000-year-old plant fossils – Soro, then I headed to the essence of the Emei Half Mountain Scenic Area – Qing Yin Pavilion, to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and water surrounding each other. I then visited the largest wild natural ecological monkey area in the country, played with the spiritual monkeys of Emei Mountain, and finally arrived at the Five Xian Hill Parking Lot. At the Five Xian Hill, I enjoyed the “Ecological Meal” of Emei Mountain (the meal takes about 30 minutes), Emei Mountain is the kingdom of plants. The local wild vegetables are not only delicious vegetables but also good medicine, with unique flavors and high nutritional value. They can be regarded as the best among wild vegetables, allowing you to fully enjoy the blessings of nature.
After lunch in the afternoon, we will head to the 5A-level scenic spot, Leshan Giant Buddha. We will spend about 2 hours visiting Leshan Giant Buddha. The itinerary also includes a visit to Lingyun Mountain: Lingyun Temple, the Great Buddha Hall, the Lower Nine-Flower Staircase, observing the confluence of the three rivers, and the Lingbao Pagoda. The famous giant Buddha is a 71-meter cliff-carved statue, seemingly “the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain”, which is extremely spectacular.
