Finally, stay at Jiaju Tibetan Village, one of the six most beautiful ancient villages in China.

Day 3: Jiaju Tibetan Village – Yala Snow Mountain Viewing Platform – Inkstone Park – Kasa Lake – Ganzi

Start from Jiaju Tibetan Village and head to the viewing platform of Yala Snow Mountain to admire the magnificent and diverse appearance of the snow – capped mountain. Then, visit the Inkstone Park in Western Sichuan, a place resembling an alien planet. The dark rocks form a sharp contrast with the pure snow, presenting a stunning sight. Next, explore the hidden treasure – like Kasa Lake. The sparkling lake water reflects the lush trees on the shore, just like a beautiful ink – wash painting.

Day 4: Ganzi - Xinluhai (Yulong Lacuo) - Dege Printing House - Jiangda

Head to Yulong Lacuo, where the emerald – green lake water shines even more brightly under the sunlight, and the distant glaciers and snow – capped mountains add more colors to this place. Then visit the Dege Printing House, known as the “treasure house beneath the snow – capped mountains”. Its antique architectural style makes it even more mysterious, and the traditional wood – block printing slowly tells the stories of history.

Day 5: Jiangda - Gama Valley in Changdu

Set off from Jiangda and enjoy the ever – changing scenery along G317. The flowing river stands in sharp contrast to the tall and majestic snow – capped mountains, captivating you with its charm. Then proceed to Gama Valley in Changdu to experience the traditional painting technique of Thangka and immerse yourself in the essence of Tibetan culture.

Day 6: Gama Valley - Dingqing

Cross Zhujiaola Mountain and visit the site of the Enda Battle, experiencing the sediment and stories of history. Then head to Chama Mani Piles. Here, there are numerous stones engraved with Buddhist scriptures and Buddha images. Devout Tibetan people place their beliefs here, passing them down from generation to generation, thus forming this huge Mani Stone Pile.

Day 7: Dingqing - Zizhu Temple - Baqing

Head to Zizhu Temple, which stands majestically on the steep, tiered mountains. Mysterious and solemn, it’s like a quiet “City in the Sky” perched here. Then pass through the Xiela Mountain Tunnel and gaze afar at the Nyainqentanglha Mountains.

Day 8: Baqing - Nagqu - Damxung

Go to Zandan Temple, known as the “Little Potala Palace”. The solemn architectural complex with distinct red – and white colors is the largest ancient Buddhist building complex in northern Tibet. Along the way, admire the breathtaking scenery of the northern Tibetan grassland. The blue sky, flocks of cattle and sheep, and swaying wildflowers combine to form a stunning oil – painting – like scene.

Day 9: Damxung - Namtso - Lhasa

Head to Namtso, one of the “Three Holy Lakes” in Tibet. Set against the backdrop of Nagula Mountain, the serene blue lake appears even more gentle and refined. The lake surface mirrors the boundless blue sky, resembling the beautiful and dreamy “mirror of the sky” in Hayao Miyazaki’s stories.

Day 10: Potala Palace - Jokhang Temple - Barkhor Street

Visit the Potala Palace, the world’s highest  altitude magnificent building integrating palaces, castles and monasteries. Its grandeur is so captivating that it’s hard to tear yourself away.
